Club’s history
Volleyball club Lokomotiv was formerly named “Sever”.
Men’s volleyball team “Sever” was formed on the base of production company “Sever” in 1977.
Highlights and history:
- 1981-1984 The winner of the Cup of Siberia and Far East.
- 1981-1986 Participation in the Championship of USSR in the First League.
- From 1986 Participation in the Championship of USSR in the High League.
- 1990 Semifinal in the CEV Cup, 6th place in national Championship.
- 1993 6th place in national Championship .
- 1997 the team “Sever” is renamed into “Lokomotiv”.
- 1999 1st place in the Championship of International Union of Railwaymen.
- 2000 Winner of the Siberian and Far East Cup.
- 2003 3rd place in the Championship of International Union of Railwaymen.
- 2003 1st place in Russian Championship in High League “B”.
- 2004 1st place in Russian Championship in High League “A” .
- 2007 10th place in Russian Championship in Superleague.
- 2008 4th place in Russian Championship in Superleague.
- 2008 The finalist of Russian Cup
- 2009 6th place in Russian Championship in SuperLeague.
- 2010 4th place in Russian Championship in SuperLeague.
- 2010 The winner of the Siberian and Far East Cup.
